FOUR LONG-TIME VOLUNTEERS WERE HONORED

DURING A RECENT HAPPY TAILS EVENT

Four long-time volunteers were honored during a recent Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary event.  Speakers at the event included State Representative Diane Grendell (R-76), 3rd from left, and her husband, Geauga County Probate/Juvenile Court Judge Tim Grendell, 2nd from right.  The volunteers are: Don C. Reynolds, at left, Kathy Adams Martin, 2nd from left, Anna Marie Babinec, 3rd from right, and Jean Fisher, at right.  The volunteers showed up on their designated days each week to help at the sanctuary for many years even during inclement weather.  In addition to receiving certificates of appreciation, the volunteers were given gift cards from Chardon businesses Pet Supplies Plus and Arby’s Restaurant. As many of our viewers already know, Happy Tails is a non-profit, no-kill, mostly cageless sanctuary in Newbury (previously in Chesterland) that for nearly 37 years has provided shelter to cats of all ages even if they are unadoptable due to being feral or having disabilities.  Tax-deductible donations to help continue our organization’s work can either be sent via PayPal or via the U.S. Mail at: Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary, P.O. Box 581, Chesterland, OH 44026.
