MICKEY, A ONE-EYED CAT, NEEDS A VERY PATIENT ADOPTER
- Mickey, a 2-year-old cat whose infected and severely shrunken eye had to be surgically removed, partially hid under a towel during a veterinary exam. He was abandoned near a lady’s apartment. She couldn’t keep him due to her landlord’s rules, but she fed him and had him neutered, vaccinated, and tested for feline diseases (for which he tested “negative”). Now Mickey is at the Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary, where he is well cared for, but extremely shy and still very frightened. We hope that he will find a home with a very patient adopter who will give Mickey the time and space he needs to eventually become a loving pet.
